Dive into the world of cheese by joining the Slate Cheese Club. Each month or every other month you’ll receive a carefully selected trio of cheeses and complementary crackers. Detailed tasting notes are also included with interesting facts, background information and our tips for pairing each cheese with food and drink.
Whether you’re a cheese connoisseur or keen to learn more, the Slate Cheese Club will help you to answer these questions and more. Our Cheese of the Month showcases the season’s most special cheeses, new additions to our Wall of Cheese or those we feel deserve extra attention. Alongside this cheese, you will receive two more of the same high merit. This means you can look forward to creating an entirely different cheeseboard with three outstanding cheeses every time our parcels arrive.
Tasting notes are provided for all the cheeses we send. These explain who has made your cheese, where they have made it, and how. Written by Slate’s very own Clare, these notes also offer tips for serving each cheese to make the most of its individual flavours. Clare also provides her favourite tried-and-tested food and drink pairing suggestions.

Your parcel will contain three carefully chosen cheeses and a box of crackers to enjoy with them, plus tasting notes for each cheese. Each wedge of cheese weighs approximately 180g. These are hand cut by our team in our Southwold store before being lovingly wrapped in waxed paper. Small soft cheeses and small truckles will be dispatched whole in their boxes or wax casings.
Cheese Club cheese boxes are delivered on the first Thursday of every month. We dispatch them by overnight courier on the Wednesday after carefully packing them to ensure they reach you in optimum condition. If you prefer, you can also choose to collect Cheese Club parcels from our Aldeburgh or Southwold stores.

You don’t need to be at home when your cheese box arrives. Nominate a safe place for our courier and your parcel will be ready and waiting for you when you get home. Your cheeses will have been carefully packaged for their journey and should be in perfect condition when you open your parcel.
