We do not routinely offer delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, to Northern Ireland or outside the UK. However, if you have a need in these areas please call us on 020 3603 4736 and we will seek to help.

COLLECTION

You can choose to collect your order in person from one of our Suffolk shops in Aldeburgh or Southwold. At checkout, please select your preferred location, date and time slot for collection. We'll have your cheese ready and waiting!

DISPATCH

Having placed your order you will receive an email from us confirming the details. We will then notify you by email when we have dispatched your order and you will receive tracking details directly from our courier.

PACKAGING

All cheese from Slate is carefully cut, wrapped and packed by hand. It is important to us that it reaches you in prime condition. We have worked hard to source environmentally friendly packaging that keeps the contents protected and well chilled during transit. Our packaging including the box and liner is recyclable. The foam 'peanuts' are made of starch making them fully biodegradable and home compostable. At present our icepacks cannot be recycled but we hope you will refreeze and reuse them.

DELIVERY

Please ensure you are available to take delivery of your cheese on the date chosen at checkout. Delivery will usually take place during normal business hours on the arranged date. Cheese is a perishable item and our packaging will keep it fresh during overnight transit however if it cannot be delivered on the arranged date we cannot assure its quality. Please see our full terms and conditions for further details.

STORING YOUR CHEESE

On receipt, please unpack your cheese immediately and refrigerate it. One hour before eating, remove it from the fridge so it is well warmed to room temperature to release its full aroma and flavours. Visit our journal for further tips on storing your cheese.
