Our East Anglian Cheese Selection contains three very special East Anglian cheeses. East Anglia may not be a traditional cheese-making area but today’s award-winning producers are certainly causing a buzz. Without a history of cheesemaking, the farmers-turned-cheesemakers in this area create their exceptional cheeses with recipes from around the UK and Europe. They use the creamy full-flavoured milk from their own happy herds, who graze Norfolk and Suffolk’s rich and fertile pastures. This milk is transformed into their award-winning cheeses in purpose-built cheese dairies built on their farms. Choose this selection to enjoy Norfolk Dapple Cheddar-style cheese, Baron Bigod Brie-style cheese and Binham Blue. Read more
Serve the finest British cheeses this Christmas with this perfectly balanced selection. It wouldn’t be Christmas without a tangy blue to enjoy with a slice of fruit cake – rich and creamy Shropshire Blue, from the makers of Cropwell Bishop Stilton, is one of the best. A Cheddar is a must too and we’ve selected a delicious new one from Trethowan's Dairy. The long-lasting finish of award-winning Pitchfork pairs beautifully with a spoonful of Slate chutney. Pave Cobble, an ash-coated sheep’s cheese, completes our trio with a light and delicate dimension. Serve all three with delightfully crunchy Peter’s Yard Sourdough Crispbreads for a Christmas cheeseboard to remember. Read more
Our British cheese selection contains five exquisite cheeses that showcase the diversity and quality of artisan cheeses now being produced in the UK. To accompany these award-winning cheeses, we have included a box of Miller's Damsels Buttermilk Wafers, which are handmade with English buttermilk and butter.
Vintage Lincolnshire Poacher is a hard cheese similar to Cheddar but reminiscent of Alpine cheeses, while Colston Bassett Stilton is a fruity and mellow blue cheese with buttery and earthy flavours. Dorstone is a smooth and moussy goat’s cheese coated with edible ash, which is sublime on the cheeseboard alongside Cornish Yarg, a beautiful, nettle-wrapped cheese. The final cheese in our selection is Baron Bigod, the highly acclaimed Brie-style cheese that we are so proud of in Suffolk! Read more
Enjoy a trio of exquisite goat’s cheeses with our goat’s cheese selection. For a crunchy and striking contrast, we have also included Miller's Damsel Charcoal handbaked wafers.
Eye-catching Norfolk Mardler is deliciously creamy with just a subtle hint of goatiness. Its yellow wax coating keeps the firm white cheese inside supple and moist. Our second cheese, Ticklemore, is a wonderfully milky and grassy goat’s cheese with mushroom notes. This semi-hard cheese is instantly recognisable for its distinctive flying saucer shape. Our final choice, Dorstone, is an ash coated goat’s cheese shaped into a turret. Beneath the edible ash rind, the texture is smooth and moussy while the flavour has a soft citrus tang and yeasty notes. Read more
