Deluxe East Anglian Cheese Selection

Our Deluxe East Anglian Cheese Selection contains six wonderful cheeses from Suffolk and Norfolk. In addition to the three fine cheeses included in our East Anglian Selection, this deluxe version contains three more of this area’s best. Alongside soft and creamy Baron Bigod, cheddar-style Norfolk Dapple and tangy Binham Blue we have eye-catching Norfolk Mardler, a flavoursome goat’s cheese; delicate and fresh St. Jude; and last but not least crumbly Suffolk Gold. All six cheeses in this diverse selection are handmade with rich, creamy milk straight from the farm.

Keeping it local, Flint Vineyard in Norfolk produces a delicious Bacchus wine, crisp yet refined with notes of elderflower and lime peel. You can add a bottle to enjoy with our deluxe selection of East Anglian cheeses (courier delivery & Aldeburgh collection only). We think it's a particularly good match for the fresh milkiness of St. Jude.

  • If wine option selected: 1 bottle of Flint Vineyard's Bacchus (750ml)*

*Until the next vintage of Flint Vineyard Bacchus is released after Easter 2022, this selection will include Shotley Vineyard Bacchus 2020.

Binham Blue is a blue cheese made by Mrs Temple at Copys Green Farm in Wighton, Norfolk.
 
Norfolk Mardler is a firm goat’s cheese from Fielding Cottage in Honingham, Norfolk. 
 
St Jude is a soft cheese produced by White Wood Dairy at Fen Farm in Bungay, Suffolk.
 
Suffolk Gold is a crumbly golden cheese made at Whitegate Farm in Creeting St Mary, Suffolk.
  
Baron Bigod is a soft Brie-style cheese made from raw milk at Fen Farm Dairy near Bungay, Suffolk.

Excellent cheeses

The cheeses were very enjoyable arrived when expected and were well packaged. I was one cheese missing but Slate responded almost immediately to my email and equally quickly gave me a partial refund. I was impressed with the service and will probably order again in the future.

Christmas cheese

The selection of East Anglian cheese was beautiful. Tasted wonderful. My teenager could smell it had been in the car before him! It was a Christmas gift so would have been lovely if it had presented in a gift box or bag, (or had the option to purchase a Slate presentation box when collecting the cheese), however I was able to find a Christmas bag in a supermarket to present the gift in. Otherwise, we cannot fault the service and cheeses from Slate.
