Each month our themed selection brings you a unique trio of outstanding cheeses. We like to showcase the season’s most special cheeses, new additions to our wall of cheese or those we feel deserve extra attention.
Tasting notes are provided for all the cheeses we send. These explain who has made your cheese, where they have made it, and how. Written by Slate’s very own Clare, these notes also offer tips for serving each cheese to make the most of its individual flavours, plus Clare's favourite food and drink pairing suggestions.

For Christmas gifts, the journey of discovery begins the first full week of January. At other times of the year, the first box will arrive on the first Thursday of the next month. A printed gift certificate can be sent to you or the recipient (please request this in the “special instructions” box at checkout).
Your subscription box will contain three carefully chosen cheeses and a box of crackers to enjoy with them, plus tasting notes for each cheese. Each wedge of cheese weighs approximately 230g. These are hand cut by our team before being lovingly wrapped in waxed paper. Small soft cheeses and small truckles will be dispatched whole in their boxes or wax casings.
We have two payment options available to join the Slate Cheese Club. You can set up a recurring monthly subscription with easy flexibility to take a cheese holiday, or choose one of our pre-paid plans from this page to receive cheese boxes monthly or bi-monthly for the next three or six months.
Slate Cheese Club boxes are delivered on the first Thursday of each month. We dispatch them by overnight courier on the Wednesday after carefully packing them to ensure they reach you in optimum condition. If you prefer, you can also choose to collect Cheese Club parcels from our Aldeburgh or Southwold stores - just add a note to the "special instructions" box on the checkout page.

You don’t need to be at home when your cheese box arrives. Nominate a safe place for our courier and your parcel will be ready and waiting for you when you get home. Your cheeses will have been carefully packaged for their journey and should be in perfect condition when you open your parcel.
