Raclette "Meal Deal"

Bring the taste of the mountains home with our raclette meal deal! As well as authentic Raclette de Savoie PGI, we’ve included a delicious selection of Alpine charcuterie and a jar of handmade Slate Pickles! Raclette de Savoie is the quintessential raclette cheese. It is made from rich raw cow’s milk, which is pressed into round wheels and matured for a minimum of four months. Smooth and creamy, it melts evenly for serving over boiled potatoes, charcuterie and pickles.

Alpine charcuterie selection (Villani Salumi Antipasto Delle Alpi): Ingredients: Bresaola: beef, salt, dextrose, natural flavours, preservatives: sodium nitrite, potassium nitrate. Speck: pork, salt, dextrose, spices, natural flavours, preservatives: sodium nitrite, sodium nitrate. Salame fumé: pork, salt, dextrose, sucrose, spices, natural flavours, wine, antioxidant: sodium ascorbate, preservatives: sodium nitrite, potassium nitrite.
Slate Pickles - Ingredients: Cucumber (45%), apple cider vinegar (antioxidant 224: sulphites), sugar, mustard seeds, ground cumin, turmeric, salt.

Tasting notes

Raclette de Savoie is a made from rich unpasteurised cow’s milk. Its pliable paste is ivory yellow with a distinctive taste and aroma that is full-bodied yet balanced. Its rind, meanwhile, develops a colour between dark orange and brown.

Three mountain-cured meats include lean Bresaola beef, beech-wood smoked speck, and smoked salami seasoned with juniper and rosehip.

Slate Pickles are handmade by our chef Kim. Similar to cornichons, these mini cucumbers are pickled in a cider vinegar brine spiced with turmeric, mustard seeds and cumin. They balance the richness of cheese with a delightfully tart and tasty crunch.
