Exceptional cheeses need accompaniments that will complement their individual flavours. We’ve taken great care to select products that pair perfectly with the cheeses we sell. Remember, if you would like any advice or recommendations for planning a cheeseboard, we’re always happy to help.
If you’re looking for crackers, crispbreads and oatcakes that won’t compete with subtle delicate cheeses, you’ll find the crispiest handbaked choices here. If you like to contrast silky soft cheeses with sweet flavours and palate-pleasing textures, why not try some delicious artisan fruit and nut studded toasts?
We stock outstanding chutneys and preserves. Make sure you try Eastgate Larder’s medlar cheese, produced from locally grown medlars. We’re also very proud of our very own award-winning chilli jam, made in our Aldeburgh kitchen.
Beyond the cheeseboard we have flavoursome provisions to enjoy alongside cheese for lunch or pre-dinner nibbles. Create a classic ploughman's spread with Westcombe Cheddar, fig chutney and a meaty pork pie from Norfolk's Bray's Cottage. Or tempt your tastebuds with thinly sliced Manchego accompanied by authentic Spanish charcuterie and mouth-watering olives smoked locally here in Suffolk.
Cheese and wine is a classic combination. The right choice in your wine glass can elevate exceptional cheeses to new deliciousness! In collaboration with the experts at Heritage Wines we are delighted to bring you a special collection of English wines, hand-picked to match the flavours and textures of artisan cheese. Add a bottle to your basket to create a decadent cheeseboard or treat friends and family to an indulgent gift.
These Swedish style sourdough crispbreads (or knäckebröd) are the perfect partner for any cheese. We love to slather them with soft cheese or top them with a crumbly blue. Created by Peter Ljungqvist, Peter’s Yard sourdough crackers started out in a Skånegård bakery deep in the Swedish countryside. Now baked here in the UK, the team faithfully follow the original Swedish recipe. Their sourdough is fed daily and allowed to ferment for 16 hours before each batch is baked. Read more

Your Piece Baking Company made it their mission to bring the world real handmade Scottish oatcakes and we’re very glad they did! Made only from oats from farms in Fife, these oatcakes are hand-rolled with a rolling pin. 'Fife Cut' refers to the classic triangular shape used by generations of Fife bakers, whose methods and recipes they faithfully uphold. Add a slice of cheese and some chutney for a truly satisfying snack. Read more

Flame-baked for toasty crispness, they are the perfect backdrop for our full-flavoured cheeses. Endlessly versatile, we would top these textbook crackers with any one of the cheeses in our shop — and be very happy doing so! We love the satisfying crunch they deliver while allowing the cheese to be the star of the show. Read more

The Fine Cheese Company’s Toast for Cheese are made with around 60% fruits, nuts and seeds for a sweet and nutty accompaniment for your favourite cheeses. We love this variety with dates, hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds, which pairs deliciously with our soft and creamy cheeses. Thin and light, their crispness is achieved by baking them twice, like a biscotti. Spread them with sumptuous soft and creamy cheeses for the ultimate end to a meal or a magnificent afternoon snack.
